I Like It…

This feature on Blogger isn’t ‘new’ per say, but I’ve never used it before and I like it! The Mail-to-Blogger function can be incredably useful. If you don’t already know what it is, you set up an email address at Blogger, usually, blogname.secretword@blogger.com, and the Subject is the title of the post, and the body is the post itself. This is good for me.
On GDay, May 28th, the 1st annaversary of the G4/techTV Merger, I want to type a big article about the progress, what people have been doing since the layoff, and the demise of TechTV on that day. But, I’m leaving on the 27th for Florida and not taking a laptop with me. I was going to write it on the 27th and post it as the 28th.
Now, the hotl gives each guest 10 free minutes with an Internet kiosk to check mail or local info. No WWW access is provided free, so now I can use the Email function and write my article on that day. So long live Email-Long Live Blogger-ANd LONG LIVE TECHTV!!!!!!

Site of the Week: CinemaTour

I like theaters, and that would be why I love CinemaTour.com! The site has a great fourum for cinema fans, and it also has tours for theaters around the world. It has a pretty complete listing of theaters, and most include photo tours and history of the theaters. Our area was pretty accurate in the listings, only missing Rave Baton Rouge 16 and saying some closed theaters were still open, and listing the Grand Cinema as the old Oak Cinema 8. Visit It. Love It. Visit it Again.

Yes, G4 is yet again changing.

Well, the worst enemy of tech geeks everywhere, G4 (You know which one I am talking about.) has changed their look again. Now, G4’s website is slow, cubersome, and still has a bad, up-in-your-face design. On Wikipedia’s G4 article, someone added, “G4 is to be officially relaunched this summer…”, and I think this is it. I personally don’t watch it anymore, but I must have been dillusional because I thought it said TechTV!?
