It seems that the DIRECTV and TiVo contract dispute has seen it’s end, for now. DIRECTV has made it’s own DVR, called the Plus DVR R15. It has a 90 minute live buffer, DIRECTV active TV funtions, more ‘professional’ interface, and looks nice, too. I am going to get one for Christmas, and put that in my room, and put my old TiVo in the living room. But enough for what I need to tell DIRECTV, It is getting cold. We had out first freeze about a week ago, and it got down to the 20s with the wind chill near 15o! We luckily wrapped our pipes after the first freeze!

That is not fair. Hey, Coca-Cola, I happen to like Vanilla Coke. You are mean. 
Anyway, I’m very upset about (happy Bo?) the discontinuation of Vanilla Coke, and I am stockpiling from the stores here in Baton Rouge. The’re replacing it with some “Blak Cherry Vanilla Coke”, Supposadly a mixture of Coke, vanilla and cherry soda, with coffee! Oh, hold that thaught, I got to barf.
