Now, here’s the part where most readers (you know the 3 of you who found my blog with the Next Blog button), click it again. My thoughts:
You probably don’t care about how much Vanilla Coke is in my closet right now.
You probably don’t care about what I think of Google.
You probably don’t care about the next blog.
Or the next.
That raises the question. Why do we blog? Rarely anyone reads them. Those that do read an article, posts a comment advertising their blog, and moves on. So, if people don’t read it, why do we post it? I now know the reason. To be out there. For example, you don’t like TiVos. You like ReplayTVs. So, you will tell your dog. Your TiVo. You may even go down to Circuit City and tell the iPod salesman about your feelings for DVRs. That is what you do on a blog. You tell anyone and everyone your feelings for technology, food, people, TV, music, books, animals, anything. Sure, no one might read. But, someone could. They might not care, but someone might. So, why not blog? Someone could read it. They might agree. They might find another guy’s blog who agrees. They could do a Google Blog search on people who agree. Finally, you have a whole ReplayTV movement. All because one man posted on his blog that he likes ReplayTV.
Blogs start movements. That’s what they do. Keep blogging, Earthlings!
