Kevin “Yo” Dupuy is a student in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. This means he’s from the city and state that not only elected Bush twice, but wrote-in Stephen Colbert for the Libertarian Presidential Nomination in 2008. “Fantastic. More things for the nation to mock us for,” said Dupuy.

He’s a political writer (incredibly-biased, but hey, at least he admits it) that has perfected the art of being a Libertarian conservative with a streak of Green. He writes the incredibly popular (note to writer: place some thing that prove that we’re popular here before the website is published. -Kevin) blog Kevin’s Word, host of several former podcasts, and the editor of Get it Straight!, the website that speaks out on First Student. He also might be working on a new project, which we can’t say what it is, but let’s just say it’s an election news source that covers all the candidates and is biased - in every single way. Oops, I guess that’s saying what it is. Sorry.

Kevin is also active in the open source community. He’s an openSUSE member, and active in the openSUSE project. That’s why there may be a lizard with a countdown on it on the front page. He also writes for the (completely unaffiliated with Kevin’s Word) blog openSUSE Lizards.

The Word of Kevin: The Site

This website had humble beginnings. Founded in February 2005, it had content on it. Relaunched in June 2008, it looks better and has better content on it. That’s all you need to know.

Kevin’s Word is syndicated on the Planet SUSE blog. It has nothing to do with SUSE except the writer. And the occasional mention of SUSE. SUSE is… well just do a Google search.
